WearComp quick definition

WearComp describes a wearable computer system with display over one or both eyes, controlled by a collection of pushbutton switches that form a "keyboard". Characters are entered by pressing different combinations of switches in "chords", (e.g. in personal imaging mode, the command "lamp test red" is entered by pressing thumb and index finger together, while in RTTY mode, email is replied to remotely by a character set).
A more detailed definition of WearComp is provided in the lead article of the Proceedings of the IEEE, November 1998. This definition is equivalent to earlier definitions such as that put forth in the paper the described the original invention of WearComp: http://www.wearcam.org/historical/node1.html
