WearComp quick definition
WearComp describes a wearable computer system with display over one
or both eyes, controlled by a collection of pushbutton switches
that form a "keyboard". Characters are entered by pressing different
combinations of switches in "chords", (e.g. in
personal imaging mode, the command "lamp test red"
is entered by pressing thumb and index finger together, while
in RTTY mode, email is replied to remotely by a character set).
A more detailed definition of WearComp is provided in
the lead article of the Proceedings of the IEEE, November 1998.
